The solar panels were cheerfully and efficiently installed in spite of every kind of weather from sun to snow. They have been trouble-free with an excellent monitoring system that allows us to make the best use of the electricity generated - over 2,000 units since we became a "home generator" nine months ago.

I've been very pleased with the hot water installation from the moment it switched on. I thought 'Every time the sun shines we're getting hot water - it seems crazy not to use that nautral resource'. So I was always up there checking the dials.

In 15 days of August 2005 (year one of installation), the pump worked ...an average of just over 6 hours per day. It doesn't provide all our hot water but it makes an appreciable difference. If there's a bright sky it comes on - you don't have to have direct sun.
