There are various different grant, discount schemes and loans available for home owners. We are accredited installers for all of the schemes listed below, and are happy to help you through the grant application process, so please contact us for advice on how to access these grants.

Guildford Borough Council - Renewable Technology Loans

Guildford Borough are now offering loans for renewable technology of up to £3000, these loans can be used towards solar thermal and solar electric systems contact our London branch on 0208 875 1008 and speak to Alastair.

Islington Council Climate Change Fund

Islington council is offering all residents further grants towards domestic installations of solar and other micro renewable technologies. £2100 per technology is available for most residents. If you are on benefits or over 70 it is possible to have completely grant funded systems installed. We are the solar installer for this scheme. Southwark Solar Rewards

Southwark Council are the ones offering the scheme, they are able to offer residents a £500 Southwark Solar Reward if they fit solar thermal systems. Residents would need to apply for a reward and have the award approved before they the system is fitted. They ask that residents take steps to minimise their energy demand (insulation, low energy lighting etc) before applying. Contact our London branch on 0845 313 8463 for more details.

Lewes Renewables

Run by the Ouse Valley Energy Services Company (OVESCO) Lewes Renewables offers a £600 grant for all Lewes district residents, and £2,000 for those in Council Tax Bands A-D, or up to £4,000 for those in fuel poverty or on certain benefits, for installation of a solar hot water system. Powys County Council co2i Initiative

This is a major scheme funded by Powys County Council which is available to all private residents in Powys, but is subject to certain criteria and the availability of funds.  Up to £3,000 interest free loan may be available towards the cost of renewable energy measures and capital works for:

• Solar hot water
• Solar electric (PV)

Herefordshire’s Special Energy Efficiency Scheme (SEES)
