This customer in Peacehaven contacted us when she heard news about the Lewes district grant scheme and we went round to survey at the end of 2008.

We gave the customer all the required information for the local grant and the national Low Carbon Building Programme grant, and they were allocated both.

This installation of the 20 tube Thermomax system was very straightforward, as with most bungalows, as the pipe run was short and the panels could be sited on the rear roof, directly above the existing airing cupboard.  The system’s been producing plenty of hot water since January this year.

This customer said shortly after her installation: “I’m really pleased with my new system and am sticking my head in the airing cupboard checking my temperatures every time the sun shows its face!! Despite the snow and the sea mist, I have already had several tankfuls of hot water without using the boiler! Many thanks for all your help.”   Since May the boiler has been switched off completely…
