how commercial solar thermal works

Larger scale solar hot water systems will have a number of panles, either mounted on a roof or on a frame.

The number and size of the cylinders will depend on the heat requirement for the building. Genrally preheat cylinders are used to provide a way of storing the solar hot water, pre-heating the cylinders with solar also greatly reduces the energy needed from the boiler to heat the water to its final temperature.

Large Solar thermal

Large scale solar hot water can be set up in variety of ways, below is just one of the typical set-ups. If you have a requirement for a large scale system then please contact your local branch.
